When we were on our New England potluck road trip tour in New England this fall, we were happy to bring food gifts with us for the people who attended. The Bakery on Main gluten-free granola was the first one I tried after I learned that certified gluten-free oats were finally on the market. And I so appreciated having their gluten-free granola bars with us on our trip, particularly when the kiddo grew cranky from being hungry.
But it’s their instant oatmeal that is the fan favorite. These wholesome oatmeals contain certified gluten-free oats, but they also have chia seeds, flax meal, quinoa, amaranth, dried fruits, and good spices. These are a far cry from the overly sweet packaged instant oatmeals I ate as a kid.

Later, as an adult, I learned to love steel-cut oats and thick rolled oats without a package. Lu’s a kid.
